Last year a photographer Jeff Swanson who was actively involved in the landscape community lost his battle with Melanoma. He was an inspiration to many and regarded as a great friend. The shot: I’ve wanted to see this milky way alignment over Mount Rainier, Washington ever since my friend Dave Morrow captured it. Since then, this view has become highly coveted, and on this night there were probably 50+ photographers on site to witness the event.
