Atmosphere was the name of the game during my recent trip to the Canadian Rockies. Rain, fog, clouds, wind all accompanied me on the day I entered the park. Awful conditions for the tourists yearning for mountain views but incredibly exciting for any photographers driving the Icefields Parkway that day. As hoped, the afternoon brought a stop to the rain as well as a breaking in the clouds obscuring the high peaks. This image is from the first series I shot during the trip. I’ve added a handful more to my New Releases gallery on my website if anyone feels like clicking over. via 500px

Forces of Mountains by AdnanBubalo
The Matterhorn is a mountain of the Alps, straddling the main watershed and border between Switzerland and Italy. It is a huge and near-symmetrical pyramidal peak in the Monte Rosa area of the Pennine Alps, whose summit is 4,478 metres (14,692 ft) high, making it one of the highest summits in the Alps and Europe. It is estimated that over 500 alpinists have died on the Matterhorn since the first climb in 1865, making it one of the deadliest peaks in the world From my last expedition to Alps via 500px

. : magic mushrooms : . by Martin-Pfister
Maybe you know this image - right, it´s the second reload of an old mushroom work. This is one of my first really lightened mushroom photo and for that it means much to me! I remember this day very good because it was hard work, ha ha... Since I shoot them I developed the image over three years - now its also not perfect in things like the quality but it´s the best I am able to give... Just have a look at my page for workshoptours, videotutorials and more: http://ift.tt/1pFOBX1 Thanks for stopping by and have a good day! via 500px

Simple Tequila Recipe by willfoster
I partnered with Nick, a Seattle bartender, to make a simple cocktail that you could make at home that features everyday ingredients and Jose Cuervo Tequila Tradicional, the original recipe by Jose Cuervo, a refined and handcrafted 100% blue agave tequila. Nick muddled cilantro and a couple slices from a jalapeño in 1oz of fresh squeezed lime juice with 0.5 oz of honey simple syrup to create a base for this delicious cocktail. Adding 2oz of Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver Tequila, shaken with ice until chilled, served up in a coupe drink glass with a small slice of jalapeño to garnish. You can have fun with the garnish. Ingredients: 2oz Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver, 0.5oz honey simple syrup, 1oz lime, cilantro, and a couple slices from a hot pepper. Nick used jalapeño. // Tools: Knife, measuring cup in ounces, shaker tins, cocktail strainer, tea strainer, and a coupe drink glass (or any cup works). The tea strainer is optional, but it will help get the larger pieces of the cilantro & jalapeño and larger chunks of ice from shaking. // How to make the Honey Simple Syrup: Using a scale add honey into a container that can be sealed, and add an equal amount of hot water. Shake vigorously. Ta-da, you have honey simple syrup. Drink responsibly. via 500px
