Atmosphere was the name of the game during my recent trip to the Canadian Rockies. Rain, fog, clouds, wind all accompanied me on the day I entered the park. Awful conditions for the tourists yearning for mountain views but incredibly exciting for any photographers driving the Icefields Parkway that day. As hoped, the afternoon brought a stop to the rain as well as a breaking in the clouds obscuring the high peaks. This image is from the first series I shot during the trip.
