Sorry, yesterday i accidentally deleted the photo, so here tis again. So it's been a while since i've gone out and actually decided to shoot a landscape/seascape, yeah I've done the quick snap here and there, but since getting my new water housing I've just been focussing on a lot of water stuff, trying to get used to it.. Which is what i was going to do this morning shoot sunset in the water, but when i seen that it was gonna light up i decided it had been a while since shooting a good seascape and dashed down towards kings head.. The bluff at Encounter bay makes a very good background subject when shooting around petrel cove or Kings head, and mixed with some awesome rockery, you can't go wrong. **gear & settings* Nikon D800, 16-35 f4, manfrotto tripod, wireless remote. f13 @ 1/2 second, ISO 64, a bit of a blend of 3 exposures

A night at the White Crack Campsite in Canyonlands National Park, UT was an incredible experience! We had to drive 40 miles on the edge of the cliff on a 4x4 road to the most remote campsite in the park, but it was totally worth it. Camping on the edge of Island In The Sky made you feel like you were camping on the edge of the earth. What solitude, peace, and beauty....

It certainly doesn't feel that way when you're standing there flanked by steep canyon walls rimmed with towering old-growth trees like oversized palisades, skin refreshingly cooled by waves of mist generated by the 91-foot-tall lower tier, eardrums under constant assault by the endless hydraulic reverberations. No, I don't see myself ever becoming numb to this scene, be it under conditions of abundant sunshine, clouds, rain, or, someday hopefully, snow and ice.

On my trip to Dorset, I had earmarked an excursion to shoot this particular tourist icon. Durdle Door is a natural Limestone Arch set on the Jurassic Coast near Lulworth and has been captured by many a photographer; but when in Rome ... This was my first trip to both Dorset and Durdle - but I doubt it will be my last. I was blessed with some fine light [as well as rain] whilst there, which made for some nice conditions to shoot in. Although next time, a trip earlier or later in the year will make it possible to capture both sunrise and sunset over the sea at this location.

This is a 7 image vertical panorama of a local spot in Maine where the late Summer Milky Way makes a dramatic background for a small shack and tree. This is right next to a cell tower that emits a red light over the landscape throughout the night. Normally I would change the color balance but I decided to leave the red color in the foreground (although I toned it down quite a bit) to add to the overall feeling of the image. Stitched via PTGui and processed through Lightroom 5 & Photoshop CS5. What you see here is a snow cave high up near Mount Rainier in the state of Washington. It was the first time I had ever been inside a snow cave. As soon as I entered the cave, it seemed like I was transported into an Alien spaceship from a sci-fi movie. Being inside like this was extremely dangerous since the cave was about to collapse any minute because of the thin ceiling. That’s why I had to take the picture and get out of there as fast as I could. The mist that had been present for the past few days helped in creating the light glow from the openings and I was fortunate to capture the textures on the thin ceiling. A big thanks to Louis Ouimet for letting me use his backup 5D Mark II, Marc Adamus for showing me this location and Alex Noriega for guiding me with the processing.

I headed out to the Wellington South Coast in New Zealand to attempt to capture some of the recent aurora activity. The aurora wasn't visible to the naked eye, and the camera was only capturing a faint glow on the horizon, but I proceeded to set up a time-lapse. Within minutes, a huge meteor streaked across the sky burning up in the Earth's atmosphere, and fortunately for me, it was captured in one of the frames of my time-lapse. One of the uniqueness that we have encountered in Papuma, namely the existence of the stones Malikan can remove the typical sounds like music when exposed to the waves. Stone Malikan a flat rocks that looked like a big shells on which to base a large rock, which is not far from the shore. There are seven large rocks on the beach. Seven rock called a small island by local residents. Six of the seven islands that has a name that corresponds to its shape. That said, one of the island is inhabited by hundreds of poisonous snakes so that there is no public or tourists who can visit the island. Rows of these islands, namely the island Guru, Krishna Island, Narodo Island, the island of Nusa Barong, Kajang Island, and Island frogs. The shape is very typical six islands. As Frog Island is shaped like a giant toad, whereas Narodo Island hat shaped like the god Narada. Visitors who come to the rock islands that can sit on top of Stone Malikan as long as it is not high sea waves. Two rock marker or icon Papuma stone is a stone awning and Narada. If we look at the background of portraits puti sand beaches in the entire world, it is easy to recognize that the background of the photo was taken in Papuma due to stone or stone awning Narada. Both the rock becomes the most favorite place to pose and take pictures ria Papuma visitors because of its shape is very distinctive.

Here's a fun one from my recent trip to the Icefields Parkway. I wanted to at least shoot this lake once. It's a beautify spot and there's a great hike that will take you up to some glacial headwaters. There was still some ice on the lake which was gone a few days later when I returned here.
