Burj Rising by nicocornet Add me http://ift.tt/1lNlcrl

Burj Khalifa and neighboring towers peaking through the fog, in Dubai. This was taken before sunrise when the blue hour was starting. The orange glow you see on the left is made by the street lights beneath. Witnessing this sight is really like being in a dream - it’s actually hard to focus on the right composition with all these overwhelming feelings. I like this location because it gives a good blue gradient during the blue hour, on the right. When you do blue hour shot, pay attention to where the sun set or rise, this will be the direction where the sky looks the best with this gradient. On the other side, it’s quite flat. Minor raw processing done on Lightroom, a few cranes removed in post. Nikon D800E with 24-120 mm, F/8 at 15sec, ISO 200 If you like what you see, drop me line or check out my Facebook page.
