Color Explosion by MaggieM1
Oh My Gosh! Thank you all so much for all your comments and votes for this image. The response was overwhelming to say the least. I can't respond to everyone individually (Nearly 2,500 E-Mails) but your comments and votes are very much appreciated as always.. A rainy day when I decided to put my creative hat on and this is what I came up with. The weather this weekend is going to be similar so I shall have to see what I can create to better this one. See, I like to challenge myself as well. Take care everyone. via 500px

City of Fog by JohannesBurkhard
I always dreamed of seeing this with my own eyes: the Golden Gate Bridge and downtown San Francisco as the only things above a low lying layer of clouds. I took this shot more than an hour past sunrise and the light was already very harsh, so I decided to go for black and white. via 500px

The Grid by peterstewartphotography
It always amazes me how people can live in cramped conditions, but where space is at a premium, I guess there is little choice. This is a housing estate in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. The size of this place reminds me of Kowloon Walled City. [ www.peterstewartphotography.com ] via 500px
Fearless mother by ZoranPhoto
- Mother moving her baby to a better place, in my backyard. :) She moved 4 kittens and before I take my camera there were 2 more left for transportation. Later I took care of these kittens and found them new home. They are big cats now. - All news, info, updates, links, more photos you can find on my Facebook Fan Page and if you want to support me just hit "LIKE" My Prints / National Geographic Profile / deviantART via 500px
Inside Wall Maria by JonathanDanker
Just finished watching the anime Attack on Titan and if you've not seen it yet, I highly recommend you do! It's visually spectacular and the action sequences are astounding.. But there was some parts that felt a little draggy but overall its awesome! Can't wait to see if season 2 comes out. For anyone who is familiar with the show, this image may feel so similar to the scenes where the titans attack the city.. Bonzai Rock by KeithKiska
| Photo Trekker | Order Prints | | Facebook | Twitter | On the east coast of Lake Tahoe is this little known rock with a “Bonzai” type tree growing from the top called Bonzai Rock. The water here is so clear and makes for great long exposure shots. This shot was a 5-minute exposure. Having the shutter open that long really stretched out the clouds, making for a much more dramatic image.

Future Tense by joe_plasmatico
Hello everybody following me into the subsoil of Munich's finest places. Fully recovered from my bad cold I went hiking into the mountains for a few days and shot tons of mediocre landscapes, need to sort them out and see what's left in the coming days. I have to admit, this genre is not my strength at all, and maybe I need more software development tools to make them more sexy, LR 5 seems not to be enough. Anyway, as I promised, my journey through the underground is not finished yet, so here we go with an other unique station. It is the final station of the U2 line connecting the trade fair of Munich at the former airport with the city. That is the last train coming in at night, so I had to be quick because they close the station automatically few minutes after the arrival. (one the left wall you can see the entire underground and suburban trains plan, if anybody needs to know) So far, so good, and always remember, there is no try, only do it.
Fork-tailed Woodnymph (Thalurania furcata) by BertrandoCampos
These solitary hummingbirds spend their time in humid forests, tall second growth, shaded plantations, or in gardens. They usually forage at low flowers, especially from plants in the Rubiaceae genus. While males sometimes defend patches of flowers and act aggressively, females tend to be less territorial and either trapline or steal nectar from the floral territories of other hummingbirds. Males are notably dark in color and have forked tails. Females are light gray below.

The Symbol of South Tyrol by sysaworld
FOR MORE SHOTS: https://www.facebook.com/sysaworld The Odle mountain peaks and the church of Santa Maddalena are the symbols of the Val di Funes. I choose this postcard for a beautiful photography workshop in the Dolomites. This shot is taken at the sunrise, just after the sun goes down from the horizon respect my position, letting me capture the beautiful and natural colors of the wild cherry trees in contrast with the incredible green of the fields !
