Sunrise Kingdom by YegorMalinovskii Add me http://ift.tt/1fqSViy
7 AM at Toroweap Overlook. Third day of my trip: could not sleep on the frozen rocks of the nearby campground much with anticipation of the sunrise - I always wanted to visit Toroweap and take it off my "bucket list". Being 3000 feet high and sitting inches from the ledge in an absolute awe of the canyon's beauty, creates the ultimate rush for me - the indescribable feeling of satisfaction of just being outdoors seeing this and pressing the shutter... that's until I hear my friend's voice: "Yegor, you are really scaring me, get away from the edge!". Best if viewed on black. Also this is a redo of my image from 2013 back when I used to be on HDR kick.

A summer thunderstorm moves in and darkens the landscape... Those granite boulders have been struck by lightning so many times, then later I was wondering what am I doing there so close to them during the storm? LE image taken at Watson Lake, Prescott. Thanks for your visits and feedback!

I chased , ... by everlookphotography Add me http://ift.tt/1fqSViy
Lake Angelus New Zealand I had scouted this spot the previous afternoon (before wild storms prevented any evening shooting) - set up to take a few shots, and the the light direction localised itself to somewhere else! this is the result of the light chased shot which I find, ends up being all about the light and less about careful composition. I'm OK with that sometimes, but mostly not , especially after review months out from the OMGWOWOWOWO moment ! [Deviant Art Gallery] [Facebook] [Web Gallery] [Flickr] [G+]

Crater Lake, Rainbows, and Lightning! by jasmanmander Add me http://ift.tt/1fqSViy
Crater Lake, Rainbows and Lightning! Here is a sneak peak of the panorama im working on. Never have I witnessed such glorious storms and light at the lake before. We met up with Sarah Molloy once we got up there, and she brought us to this awesome location. I truly felt like I was on a another tropical planet. Uninhabited by humans with nature just doing her thing. Had some truly blessed conditions and I can wait to share more work from the trip. Thanks to John Ervin for making this trip possible, and to Alex McIntosh for joining us.

I'm so fortunate to be a landscape photographer that travels to exotic locations to create and have the privilege to facilitate others on the same path. I watched the movie 'Beyond The Edge' the other day and now have a new appreciation of this mammoth beauty and others around the world, and to understand what it must of been like to even attempt such a task. We go about our lives complaining about so many things when all you really need is the air we breathe and the determination to make things happen. Have an awesome weekend, I know I will!

www.toniduarte.com Toni Duarte Freelance Photographer Please don't use this image on websites, blogs or other media without my explicit permission.
