This last weekend I had to drive twice along the Bedretto Valley to get again to Zermatt and I had a pleasant surprise, falls colors were at their best in the valley, something I wasn’t expecting since I’ve been in the same place at the same time last year and almost everything was still green … I’ve been so struck by this beauty that yesterday I decided to drive back to the valley. This is a detail of the wonderfully colored forest in front of Bedretto, the small village that gives the name to this remote valley in the extreme north of Italian speaking part of Switzerland. via 500px
