Published Brand SS15 Lookbook by JoelBear

Working on this assignment with Published Brand was one of the funnest assignments. Not only did it push us creatively but allowed us to pour our vision for innovation into a campaign. When Published Brand approached us to showcase their Spring/Summer line, we wanted to show diversity and since their brand is about the "Tomorrow" we strove to accomplish an out-of the world perspective. I've always been fascinated with Star Wars and its whole perspective of: you've been here before but you don't know it yet. It's the familiar future that incorporates elements of the past. My desire was to take those same elements for this shoot, to convey the feeling of "other world" yet realistic and reminiscent. That one could place him/herself into this character and envision this other world feeling while still experiencing a familiarity with the surrounding.
