Serendipity by MichaelBollino Add me http://ift.tt/1lNlcrl

Sometimes it pays off to trust your gut instinct. The summit of Roan Mountain was draped in dense fog all day. I could see it from where we were staying. For whatever reason my inner voice told me to give sunset a shot anyway. I drove the whole way to the trailhead in fog so dense I had to drive well below the speed limit. The urge to turn around gnawed at me after each and every mile. So glad I didn't. Once at the trailhead the fog began to break. By the time I hiked to this rock platform this scene was putting a smile across my face. http://ift.tt/YpeSs1
