A Good Morning by preston_rowlette Add me http://ift.tt/1lNlcrl

Waking to this view outside of your tent and sipping a fresh cup of coffee should be called a good morning in anyone's book. :) I spend a lot of time in Southern Utah within the many Sandstone canyon walls which once had rivers or streams rushing through them. They have since dried out thousands or even millions of years ago and it's mind boggling trying to recreate how the formations were created and how long it took. So it's an amazing site to see so much water filling these canyons in the middle of the desert like maybe it once did a time long long ago. This is Reflection Canyon and kudos, props and praises to the first person to discover this view. It's quite a trek at 18 miles round trip through the desert and I don't understand how anyone could end up here unless they saw it from a plane. Beautiful view and recommended if you don't mind backpacking in parched desert without a trail. For the latest photos and updates, follow my work on Facebook at Preston Rowlette Photography
