It was the first day in 2014 - get up at 4:30 and then it started to climb the peak of my favorite mountain, the Dobratsch near Villach. The sunrise was overwhelmingly beautiful and I was able to make great shots of it. So early in the morning because I had the mountain almost to myself. Four feet of snow lay on the Giüpfel and the German church on 2,166 meters above sea level was blanketed in snow. I had a dream light so I could "big picture" make my 2014 for me - an unforgettable moment. Es war der 1. Tag im Jahr 2014 - um 4:30 aufstehen und dann ging es los, auf den Gipfel meines Lieblingsberges, den Dobratsch in der Nähe von Villach. Der Sonnenaufgang war überwältigend schön und ich konnte herrliche Aufnahmen davon machen. So früh am Morgen, da hatte ich den Berg fast für mich alleine. Vier Meter Schnee lagen am Giüpfel und die Deutsche Kirche auf 2.166 meter Seehöhe war tief verschneit. Ich hatte ein Traumlicht und so konnte ich für mich mein "big Picture" 2014 machen - ein unvergesslicher Moment.
