One of my personal best photos of this amazing place. Standing there in the beginning of october. One hour before reaching Þingvellir National Park, the rain stopped and I was glad to have those fantastic clouds above the waterfall. While shooting I still had this "vision" of a more blue and dark picture. In my view it perfectly underlines the chaotic beauty of this spot. A lot of photographers stood in front of the waterfall, so i easily did a step into the water and could do a really nice wide angle -shot of this fissure and the water flowing away there.
