Sunrise at Coalmine Canyon back in April was both exciting, eerie, and beautiful. We explored around this little known canyon the evening before when weather was horrible and windy...so windy we stayed in a hotel in Tuba City instead of camping out. This meant we had to wake up earlier to get here in time for sunrise, and we got here just in time as we frantically ran up to the cliffs from the car to get this vista just as the sun was popping over the horizon.
