This image embodied one of those moments on the trail where you see something and you are immediately-intuitively struck; where the collective of the scene briefly strikes the eye and prompts further investigation. It is those "hunch" moments that are so exciting to unravel and reveal some of the whys to the intuition. The light peeking through the trees on this afternoon was something out of a daydream.
