Well, it sounds like the mystery of Death Valley's sailing rocks has finally been solved! Turns out it wasn't aliens after all... Check it out (on a desktop). Despite relatively tough access, the Racetrack Playa is super popular spot (with good reason). These rocks are scattered throughout the playa--some with trails as long as a football field--but until recently nobody had ever seen one move.
