website || facebook The sunset the evening before this was quite pedestrian. It left me doubtful for the morning. But, as is typical with mountain weather, things change fast! Things turned for better. The previous shot I posted was from the same morning. I would say that it was a good morning if there ever was one. This image is special because I found that myself, Alex Noriega, and Jeff Lewis have a deep burning passion for pasqueflower seedheads (the hairy plant in the foreground). Ted Gore has deemed us the three pasqueteers. This is a focus stack of 6 images for nearly an infinite depth of field. 2 shots for dynamic range.
