Less than two hours of sleep, my alarm woke me up and it was time to get ready to go hiking. I hit the trail at 2 a.m. and I was surprised to already find the parking lot half full! I arrived at the basin earlier than I thought I would and tried to find a spot that would block the strong winds. As the light started to filter in, it was a challenge trying to find a composition I liked. The winds made the photography a challenge and my ISO wasn't high enough to stop the blur in some flowers. Oops.
