What an adventure! I took a drive to Lost Lake with Gigi Peek to photograph the Milky Way over Mount Hood. Upon arrival, we ran into some of her friends and set-up for the light show that was coming from the heavens. There were about 10 people shooting at the lake through the night, including a man behind our larger group. Since people were trying to adjust settings in the dark, occasionally people would utilize their headlamp to look at their camera. Without any warning the guy behind us went off, shouting expletives about our lights and then storming off into the night. I'm thinking a simple please may have sufficed. In order to show the scale of this scene, I chose to use 5 vertically oriented photos to create a small panorama which allowed me to showcase the Milky Way over Mount Hood.
