One of the most iconic landforms on the Otago coast is Nugget Point, home to many seabirds, including penguins, gannets and spoonbills, and a large breeding colony of fur seals. Roaring Bay, on the south coast of the tip of Nugget Point, is home to a small colony of yellow-eyed penguins. This one taken from a drive from Milford Sound, caught a bit of the sunrise through a southern gale coming through which knocked down electricity and trees overnight. The sunset was so amazing the day before but I was late, too many "I need to pee" stops by some companions. Next time, bring a bottle. last two shots I will upload before I head off on a 17 day shootscapade to Autumn New Zealand.
