It was the morning of Christmas. We got up at 3am and drove an hour to arrive at the visitor center. When we got off the car, there were only a few of clouds in the sky. We had no idea what was waiting for us. We carried all our camera gear and started to march in the dark. After struggling through the deep snow and hiking about 4 miles, we saw clouds were gathering. And along with the sun, red was rising! We were just so excited! This sunrise was the best Christmas gift ever!
