Late morning sun enters the top entrance of the Partnach gorge in the Bavarian Alps. The recent rains created a stunning display of side falls tumbling down up to 80 m/260 ft into the icy waters of the Schneeferner glacier that shaped the narrow canyon. Recently re-processed this frame as I wasn't happy with my previous version at all. It completely lacked the dramatic appearance of the moment and didn't showcase the side falls really well. This new version took care of a lot of issues I had with it. I hope you enjoy it. Happy New Year! Here's to some great light in 2014!
