A rare monsoonal storm rolls through the Bay Area over Labor Day weekend producing some unbelievable cloud formations and sunset. On the second day of these storms, I managed to capture multiple patches of virga coming down near the Santa Cruz coastline. It is very rare to just see virga around the Bay Area let alone having them light up at sunset. With high tide, the rushing wave action was perfect in showing the full force of the monsoonal storm. via 500px http://500px.com/photo/47907502
