The closest I've come to losing my gear. Squatting in the water, tripod at 2 feet above the ground, swapping filters on the little Nikkor 20mm AIS f/2.8 like mad, and capturing waves hitting the rocks, plus various exposure times to get the pull on the flowing water (not using the 14-24mm as some filters I needed for this are not available for this lens), I was in my own world of calculation, and timing. My over the shoulder Nikon school satchel I carry my Lee filters in was dunking in the water. I left my main gear bag with more lenses in it, high and dry on the sand behind me. At least it was when I got here. When I at last remembered to look around, the water was lapping at it's edges. It's a Lowepro Flipside and so I put it down back to the sand. It was only slightly damp. Took everything out of it when I got back to the hut. It dried off in the sun next day. via 500px http://500px.com/photo/47849826
